Ian's First Haircut!

Ian had his first haircut! When we were back in Wisconsin for Adam's graduation, Staci gave Ian his first haircut. He did better than we all expected. He is not one to sit still! Great job Staci!

Sleep Tight and Goodnight

Ian was sick last week. One night, Amanda and I went to check on him to make sure he was ok. We thought he was so cute sleeping; so we quickly flipped on the light and grabbed this video. Enjoy...

Mmmmm

So Ian has been eating baby food for awhile now and we have begun to transition him to table foods. This video is...well...just watch...

Ian and Lunch...The Lunch Dance...

Amanda was feeding Ian lunch one day and she shot this fun video...I love it!

The Day Has Come!

The day has come! On April 26th, 2008 (7 months and a week) Ian took his first crawl forward. I came home from work and saw him crawl right towards me. As cool as it is to see Ian and all his firsts, some days I miss the tiny baby who slept in our arms. He is amazing and an absolute blessing! Enjoy...

Daddy is a GOOF!

There is nothing better than making Ian laugh. Yes, yes I am a goof...and Ian loves it!

I Love Prunes!

So Ian has been eating baby food for awhile now and he LOVES his prunes! Amanda and I thought it would be fun to see what he would do if we gave him the spoon and bowl. Well as you can see in these picture he had fun trying to eat...well I should really say that he had fun playing. Can't beat moments like these!

Ian is 5 Months Old!

This past Friday, February 15th, Ian turned 5 months old! Wow, these past couple of weeks have been filled with many baby firsts. Here is a list of all the new things that have developed with Ian over the past two weeks:
1. Ian now has his first two teeth. His two bottom teeth are in and they are SHARP!
2. Ian is enjoying all kinds of baby food. He has had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, peas, green beans, pears, and bananas. His favorite is by far sweet potatoes and like most babies he can not stand peas!
3. Ian has also found his feet and because of this facinating new discovery Ian now eats in his highchair. He is doing very well!
4. Ian is also a moving machine. He has been rolling from his back to belly for a couple of weeks, but in the last couple of days he can now go from his belly to his back. He loves to roll.
5. Ian is also continuing to sleep through the night in his crib...7:00pm to 7:00am. (He has been sleeping through the night since 7 weeks! Yipee!) Amanda and I are working on getting Ian to sleep in his crib for naps and so far so good!
6. Ian has also found that when he gets a bath that splashing mommy and daddy is super funny!
All I can say is that Ian ROCKS! Enjoy the 5 month pictures!

Ian's Eating Cereal!

Well milk doesn't do it any more for Ian. He is growing so fast and Doc says it's time to move to baby food. Ian is now on his second week with cereal and next week he moves to veggies! The fun is just beginning!

Ian is 4 Months Old!

What an amazing baby boy! Ian is now 4 months old. He is 15lbs. 5oz. and 26 inches long! He is changing and learning things every day. I am truly amazed at the goodness and power of our God. God is good. Amanda, Ian, and I send our love and greeetings to all of you.

Ian's First Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Farmer, Aunt Melody and Uncle Blake, and Lindsey!

It was soooo nice to see everyone and have such a wonderful visit. Thank you all so much for everything. We are so happy that everyone was able to see Ian and spend this time with him. Thanks!

Ian's First Ruback Christmas!

It was wonderful to have Grandma and Grandpa Ruback and Aunt Alison and Uncle Adam. We missed Aunt Staci :0(. We all had a great visit and enjoyed Ian's first christmas. Thank you for all the gifts and the wonderful memories.

Ian's First Christmas with Mommy and Daddy!

Oh it was soooo much fun! It was great to see him get all excited. We had to get him his first Tonka, although Amanda keeps telling me that he can't use it for another 6 months - that doesn't mean daddy can't have fun with it. In the spirit of Christmas, Ian had to wear the bows off the gifts...That's for you Uncle Pete!

The Ruback Family

Amanda, Ian, and myself have been so blessed over the past year. Family, friends, faith, a place to call home are just some of the many things that the Lord has so graciously blessed us with. Our prayer for all of you is that the Lord would continue to bless all of you as you have been a blessing to us. We love you all!
